How C*m

Aug 18, 2019

This week we are talking about a bodily function that effects our lives and helps to give life: our PERIODS! We are joined by two giants in the period space;

Miki Agrawal, co-founder of THINX and Tushy and Nadya Okamoto, founder of Period. The Menstrual Movement, which aims to end period poverty and period stigma.

We commiserate about how we have felt about our respective periods, from first periods to now. We talk about the various methods we’ve used for them; from tampons, to cups, to pads,  period panties, and more. We discuss navigating sex with periods, how various religious practices contribute to period stigma, and how/why these two women started their companies. We talk about the meaning of feminism and how it isn’t women against men, it’s gender equality. And finally, we talk about pooping.
