Comedians Jess Salomon and Eman El Husseini join us to discuss how they met, what it was like for them in the early stages of their relationship, coming out to their families and how the history between Jews and Palestinians helped bring them closer together. We discuss what is currently going on in Israel and Palestine, and the importance of educating yourself instead of just blindly following the media/ erratic social media posts. Jess and Eman tell us about how Jews and Palestinians view the LGBTQ+ community, both in the past and presently, and the effects this has had on their relationship; Eman shares why her parents didn't come to their wedding and Jess shares the difficulties her family had to overcome with her dating a Palestinian.
